The Chilean Academy of Sciences Presented a proposal to the Constitutional Convention to incorporate science into the new Constitution. The reception was spectacular".

"We need to enshrine science as a constitutional right to generate a knowledge society and the development of public policies., promote research along with securing state funding", said the researcher.

And he ended by emphasizing the urgency of "stimulate scientific development at the country level, not only concentrated in Santiago or in the main universities to promote associativity".
