"COOL: CuriousMinds" is an activity that seeks to ensure that institutions linked to the development of science, Technology, Innovation, Education and Culture open their doors, free of charge, to the school community, to bring STCI closer to children, girls and adolescents from various educational establishments and kindergartens in the northern area of the Metropolitan Region. These visits will be planned to take place between October 14 and 18, 2024.
CuriosasMentes is an initiative of the PAR Explora RM Norte, which seeks to generate interactive encounters between the scientific community and the educational communities, whose purpose is to arouse curiosity, Interest and appreciation of scientific topics in the school community, through the development of diverse experiences.
We invite institutions linked to the development of Science, Technology, Innovation, Education and Culture open their doors, free of charge, to the school community
REGISTRATION PROCESS:
- Complete the registration form (Annex 2) and send Paula Meriño to the mailpaulamerino@accdis.cl
- Attach a certificate of "Consultation of Disabilities to Work with Minors" available atHTTPS:inhabilidades.srcei.cl/ConsInhab/consultaInhabilidad.do of each of the participants.
- Subsequently, the process of calling and selecting the educational establishments and kindergartens that wish to participate in the initiative will begin.
A meeting will be coordinated between both parties during the period between Monday, October 14 and Friday, October 18, 2024.

This initiative is organized by the Regional Associative Project (PAIR) Explore North Metropolitan Region, funded by the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and innovation, is led by the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases (ACCDiS ) through the University of Chile and its Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The objective of the PAR Explora RMN is to strengthen the STCI competencies of educational communities, through planning, Carrying out and socializing activities in public and subsidized establishments with higher rates of vulnerability, Considering the Principles of Inclusion, Cultural Diversity and Gender Equity, decentralization, Effective Communication & Sustainability.
During the month of April 2024, The PAR Explora RM Norte will make an open call to all educational establishments and kindergartens belonging to the 20 communes that make up the PAR Explora RM Norte: Padre Hurtado, Curacaví, María Pinto, Tiltil, Hill, Lampa, Independencia, Recoleta, Conchalí, Quilicura, Renca, Cerro Navia, Huechuraba, The Countess, Lo Barnechea, Lo Prado, Providence, Pudahuel, Quinta Normal and Vitacura.
