The Biochemist and Doctor of Pharmacology at the University of Chile and an ACCDIS researcher, Mario Chiong spoke on the TV channel's "True Lies" show The Network, about the importance of using masks, taking into account that currently in Chile large percentage of the population are asymptomatic or in presymptomatic period. On the other hand, he also took the opportunity to test different types of masks and demonstrate the effectiveness in those performed at home, especially fabric, which must have up to 3 doubles to fulfill their function. "The masks we make at home, should be washed with detergent upon arrival," the biochemist.
