Since the study of the evolution of galaxies, until the coronavirus analysis and its psychosocial impact, going through the importance of sensory perception in education. This is part of the cooperation work generated by Argentine scientists working with Chilean colleagues, to be released during the meeting "Interdisciplinary Scientific Day for Bilateral Cooperation Argentina – Chile".

Organized by the Network of Argentine Scientists in Chile (RCAChile), the seminar includes talks and two roundtables to discuss topics such as scientific collaboration between the two countries, and the challenges and perspectives of scientific policies.

Presentations will address collaborative work between Argentina and Chile in areas such as astronomy, education and health. Exhibitors include the astronomer of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Pontifical Catholic University, Nelson Padilla, who will exhibit the study of cosmology through Los Andes and the presentation of the director of the Chronobiology Laboratory of the University of Quilmes, biologist Diego Golombek, with the talk titled "Counting Science in Urgent Times".

Guests include The Ambassador of Argentina, Rafael Bielsa; Dr. Cecilia Hidalgo, 2006 National Prize for Natural Sciences and President of the Chilean Academy of Sciences; Monica Rubio, president of the Chilean Society of Astronomy; Ana Presta, researcher UBA-CONICET; and Dr. Fernando Stefani, RESEARCHER CONICET.

Patricia Tissera, academic at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Pontifical Catholic University and scientific coordinator of RCAChile, explains that the network is part of the ROOTS Program of the Argentine Ministry of Science and was created in January 2019, "to encourage collaborations between scientists from both countries, advising the Argentine government on these matters if it so requires".

Nearly 30 researchers currently make up this Network, universities such as the Pontifical Catholic University, the University of Chile, Diego Portales University, University of O'Higgins and La Serena.
