Through the radio program "A tu Salud" of the University of Chile, journalist Cecilia Espinosa delved into the history of SARS-COV-2, their infectious mechanisms, the main questions that science is solving to tackle the pandemic, Myths, Realities, recommendations on cleaning and sanitizing our homes and workplaces; and alerts to contact a health care service.

In the first block, talked to Dr.. Mario Chiong, academic of the Faculty of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, PhD. In Biochemistry, researcher at the Advanced Chronic Disease Research Center (ACCDIS) and Director of PAR Explore RM Norte and in the second block, the Dra. Andrea Paula Lima, PhD in Biological Chemistry from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and an academic at the Research Institute in Dental Sciences of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Department of Neurosciences of the Faculty of Medicine, referred to the demand of the Latin American scientific community on multilateralism and international cooperation; and reflected on the role and input of the academy and learnings to achieve better global public health governance to defeat pandemics.
