It is an honour to present this summary which shows the main activities carried out at the Centre over the last ten years. The achievements in all areas of our effort are very evident, including scientific work, technological and innovative, The dissemination of science, the impact on society and public policies, to mention a few. However, We would like to highlight that perhaps one of our main missions has been to support and promote the development of talented young researchers, who constitute the next generation of scientists who will continue to face the challenges of chronic noncommunicable diseases.
