More than 700 people, participated in the IV version of the Science Fair, Technology and Health Care in Molina

At the end of August in Molina, the fourth version of the School Science Fair "Science and Health Care" organized by the Advanced Center for Chronic Diseases was held (ACCDiS ), the Santa Rosa de Molina Hospital and the Bicentennial High School of Molina.
The event brought together more than 700 people, who attended to learn about the basic and secondary education research projects developed by various educational institutions in the Maule Region.
This year, more than 50 applications for projects were received from various educational establishments, among them from the Molina Adventist School, Henri Cetty Molina School, San Marcos Curicó School, Latin American European Institute of Education (Talca), Hualañé Bicentennial High School, Bicentennial High School of Molina and Juan Agustín Morales González Lontué High School.
The activity was attended by authorities of the Municipality of Molina, DAEM of Molina, Dr. Sergio Lavandero, National Science Award 2022, among other important personalities.

Winners of the Science Fair, Technology & Healthcare
The jury was made up of Professor El Lavandero, Mayarling Troncoso, PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Professor at the University of Chile and ACCDiS researcher, Maria Jose Olivares, Director of Communications of ACCDiS and President of the College of Public Relations of Chile and Eduardo Fuentes, thesis student of chemistry and pharmacy, currently a student of a Master's Degree in Health Systems Management at the University of Talca and a former student of the Bicentennial High School of Molina, who after an extensive day of evaluation recognized the scientific work of the students, Winning Results:
In basic education, theFirst it went to Joaquín Ibarra Inostroza and Millaray Rodríguez Matus with their project "Auditory frequencies in adolescents" from the Bicentennial High School of Molina.
TheSecond it went to Sofía Fernández and Francisca Meléndez, with his project "SALOUT" of the San Marcos Molina School.
And theThird it was received by Nicolás Rodríguez and Rodrigo Leiva, with its project "Medical Assistant Robot", of the Bicentennial High School of Molina.
On the other hand, the winners of high school obtained it, Franco Sepúlveda Sepúlveda and Felipe Zuñiga Ramos First of all with its project "What foods slow down carbohydrate absorption in people with diabetes?"?" of the Bicentennial High School of Molina.
Secondly, They got it Fernanda Cabrera Valenzuela and Sebastián Cabrera Valenzuela with their project "Biodegradable cutlery" from the Bicentennial High School of Hualañé.
And theThird Camila Arroyo and Demian Morales, with his project "Raíz de Vida" of the San Marcos Curicó School.

The IV version of the Science Fair, Technology and Health Care at Molina not only allowed students to demonstrate their scientific capabilities, but also to encourage interest in research from an early age.
