Along with greet, I inform that the next 23, 24 and 25 January 2017 the postgraduate course will be held: “Strategies for Understanding Mechanisms behind the diffuse of Cancer”, which is part of the summer school of the University of Concepción.

Two international guests participate in this opportunity, Dr. Espinosa Joaquin at the University of Colorado Denver, USA and Dr. David Litchfield of the University of Western Ontario, Canada. We will also count with the participation of Dr. Vicente Torres, profesor e investigador de la Universidad de Chile.

El curso contempla además el minisimposio “Cáncer en Chile: Biomarcadores y potenciales nuevas terapias” el cual será abierto a la comunidad biomédica. Los tópicos incluyen “Gastric Cancer: Pathogenesis, Biomarkers and potential new therapies”, “Understanding the process of metastasis to illuminate new treatments for ovarian cancer”, “Melanoma from basic mechanistic insights to a potential treatment post-surgery using nanotechnology”, “Gallbladder cancer: A model for translational research from a surgical pathology to molecular disease”.

The course is aimed at students of postgraduate master's degree/PhD in areas molecular biology / cell or related, undergraduate students who have completed last year of Biochemistry, Bioengineering or racing related and professionals and researchers.
