Dr. Vicente Torres to speak at the Spanish Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The nomination was made on the basis of the advances made by the research group of the academic of the Faculty of Dentistry U. of Chile in the areas of Cellular and Molecular Biology.
Invited to give the Plenary Conference Niemeyer 2023 meeting of the Spanish Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (SEBBM), Dr. Vicente Torres Gómez, academic of the Research Institute of Dental Sciences (ICOD) and ACCDiS researcher, will represent the Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Chile (FOUCh).
«It is a tremendous personal joy, but more importantly, an honor to represent our House of Studies and as a national researcher in this prestigious Spanish Society,» said Dr. Vicente Torres.
The Niemeyer Conference will take place within the framework of the 45th SEBBM Congress, which will be held between September 5 and 8, 2023, in the city of Zaragoza, Spain. «This is a face-to-face activity, although it is not yet ruled out that it will be transmitted. Those interested in attending must register and attendance will be considered,» said Dr. Torres.
The FOUCh academic indicated that «the invitation was made with previous nomination by the Chilean Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, so I am going as the Chilean representative». Dr. Vicente Torres added that «this nomination was made on the basis of the advances made by my research group in the areas of Cellular and Molecular Biology».
