This Friday 8 May we will discuss the "Epidemiological and Public Health Considerations in the Modeling of the COVID-19 Pandemic" with Eduardo A. Undurraga, UC Civil Engineer, PhD Social Policies. Millennium Core Associate Researcher for the Study of The Course of Life and Vulnerability and Millennium Core for Collaborative Research in Antimicrobial Resistance.

The researcher will present a brief global context on the pandemic, some essential concepts for interpreting and understanding the most commonly used models for characterizing epidemics, its importance, its main limitations and some contributions of modeling to our COVID19 compression so far.
