One of ACCDiS' main missions is to be a national and international benchmark in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research on chronic diseases. For this purpose, calls for a new contest of "ACCDiS Transversal Projects" aimed at the center's associate researchers and collaborators, interested in developing collaborative research between two or more of the following priority lines of research at the centre:

  • Study of mechanisms responsible for the genesis and development of heart failure
  • Biomarkers and gender differences in the development of heart failure.
  • Tumor cell biology and inflammation.
  • Epigenomics in gastric cancer.
  • Natural history of digestive cancers.
  • Nanomedicine and medical chemistry for the diagnosis and therapy of cancer and cardiovascular disease.

The project proposed should focus on the following priority research topics established by the Centre in its renovation project:

  • Epidemiology of Chronic Diseases.
  • Angiotensin-(1-9).
  • Exosomes
  • Cardio-Oncology
