Are there healthy obese? A controversial topic

"At the present time, three of every four people have overweight or obese, and the message is that not all obese are equal, There are some who are metabolically healthy. For this reason, I presented the evidence that there are biological reasons and different responses of the adipose tissue from these people, They also have a different distribution of body fat. There is even evidence that there are those who do not benefit by a low weight, then limited public health resources patients should aim to obese metabolically", added Dr. Cifuentes.

In addition, collaborator ACCDiS noted that "many of the talks mentioned that health professionals frequently "reat" patients, make them feel guilty, then the people away from the medical system. In this sense for example, a person who fails to lose weight but actually changing your lifestyle, get something much more important: a change which Yes brings benefits in their metabolic health, which is much more relevant than a scale that tells you that you downloaded so many kilos", completed.
