Researchers ACCDIS: "Gastric cancer is a major health problem in Chile"

On Tuesday, 20 September was held the fourth session "Health Global and industry health" organized by Professor Jorge Jiménez de la Jara for the students in the master of health administration.

The researchers Maria Paz Cook and Johanna Acevedo, members of the Center progressing of diseases chronic (ACCDiS ), the guests were developed at the school of management UC academic talk.

ACCDiS is directed by the doctor Sergio laundry and integrated by researchers of the University of Chile and University Catholic. The Center for advanced chronic diseases is focused mainly in two pathologies affecting 60 percent of the Chilean population: cancer and cardiovascular diseases.
