ACCDiS investigator participated in the XVIII National Congress of students in chemistry and pharmacy in Iquique

With 180 participants from various national universities, academics and students gathered in the XVIII National Congress of chemistry and pharmacy students This year in the city of Iquique

They were students of the career of the specialty of the Faculty of Sciences of the health of Universidad Arturo Prat who were in charge of holding the annual Congress, que este año del 1 al 3 de agosto se realizó en la Universidad Arturo Prat en la ciudad de Iquique.

A lo largo de las jornadas se realizaron 5 charlas diarias de destacados académicos, academic, researchers, giving spaces of interaction and closeness with students.

The Dr. Marcelo Kogan, Biochemical and pharmaceutical, Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and toxicology of the Faculty of chemical sciences and pharmaceutical of the University of Chile, and principal investigator at the Center for advanced chronic diseases (ACCDiS ) He participated this Conference with his lecture"From nano-biotechnology to Theranostics of chronic diseases”.

“Is very rewarding experience, because there is the possibility of transmitting and motivate students about what we do as researchers. More than nothing to share the learning in a realistic way.” Dr. Marcelo Kogan

As principal investigator of ACCDiS he stressed the need to participate in workspaces with students so that the Centre be strengthened and benefit from new experiences.

“For me it is very important to participate in these spaces, as at this hearing perhaps some of them are can motivate in the future to be a researcher from ACCDiS"said Dr. Kogan.
