Director of ACCDiS carries out visits to universities in Mexico and the United States

After completing their participation in cardiovascular conference organized by the American Heart Association en Boston, el director de ACCDiS, Sergio Lavandero, aceptó la invitación formulada por el Center for Research in Medical School of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, México. Allí, dictó el seminario “New insights in the non-canonical renin-angiotensin-system (RAS)”, además de participar en diversas reuniones con el objetivo de conocer el Centro y evaluar posibles investigaciones conjuntas con profesores e investigadores de dicha escuela.

Posteriormente, el Dr. Lavandero dictó una conferencia titulada “Organellar communication in the heart” en Seminar Series on Obesity, Metabolism and Diabetes organized by the Touchstone Diabetes Center, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Dallas, institución de la que el Dr. Lavandero es Adjunct Professor.
