Our Explora RM Norte project invites all teachers from its 17 communes to join the 2021 School Science Clubs initiative with their students!

School Scientific Clubs are groups made up of two or more students from 5th to 4th, with a teacher in charge who join voluntarily to develop a natural science research or innovation project, technology, social sciences or art/humanities, during the months of June to October 2021. To guide this process, our project assigns each club a scientific advisor related to the area of the project that will accompany them just like the Explora team in this challenge. The closing milestone of this initiative is the "Virtual Meeting of School Clubs", instance that seeks to help students communicate their results to their peers and receive feedback from their research.

The objectives of this initiative are to:

  1. to) Encouraging the development of skills for research and innovation in the educational community, emphasizing questions and needs arising from your environment and everyday life collaboratively.
  2. b) Promoting social appropriation of research and innovation as a cultural practice in the educational community.
