As part of the talks 1000 Scientists 1000 Classrooms, this Thursday our North RM Explore will talk to Vinicius Maracaja, academic of the Faculty of Cs. Chemistry and Pharmaceuticals at the University of Chile and ACCDIS researcher on how real-life problems are solved through genomics and bioinformatics.

This time will explain the basics of genomics and bioinformatics and how these sciences have helped solve humanity's real problems, such as the spread of disease, the food crisis and currently supporting the fight against Sars Cov2.
